Daily Briefing pAIa ("the extension") re-ranks your Substack reading feed based on feedback you provide. This policy explains what the extension does and does not do with your information.

The short version

The extension collects no personal data and sends nothing to any server. There is no server. Everything the extension stores stays on your own device.

What the extension stores

• Your feedback — which posts you liked, marked read, marked "not interesting," or hid.
• Your settings — ranking preferences and signal weights.

This is saved locally in your browser using the chrome.storage.local API. It never leaves your browser and is not transmitted to the developer or any third party.

What the extension does not do

• It does not create an account or ask for any personal information.
• It does not send your browsing activity, feedback, or any data to a server.
• It does not track you across sites, and it runs only on Substack pages.
• It does not use remote code, analytics, or advertising.
• It does not sell or share any data — there is no data to sell or share.

Your control

You can export your stored signals to a JSON file, import them, or reset them entirely from the extension's Options page. Removing the extension deletes its local storage.

Permissions

• storage — to save your feedback and settings locally on your device.
• Access to *.substack.com — so the extension can read the visible feed and add ranking controls on Substack pages only.
